About the 2010 IPSA Spring Conference

Picture

An estimated 1.02 billion people are currently chronically undernourished. With a growing and increasingly urban population, and the impact of climate change and rising food prices, securing production of and access to food has become a major challenge for the international community. While there is a general consensus on the need to take action, the spectrum of strategies to do so is broad. The 2010 IPSA Spring Conference will be a forum to investigate these questions. Students, scholars and practitioners will come together to engage in this topic for a day through a series of conversations and workshops designed to facilitate a better understanding of the many ideas and conflicting viewpoints generated by this issue.
